3 Piscataway Men Are Part Of Bloods Gang Subset, Sold Heroin, Feds Say
Federal prosecutors say the men ran an open-air drug market on West 3rd Street in Plainfield, where they sold heroin, cocaine and fentanyl:
PISCATAWAY, NJ — Three Piscataway men are members of a gang that sold large quantities of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine in Union County and elsewhere in New Jersey, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger announced this week.
All nine men involved are part of the "Sex, Money, Murder" criminal street gang, which is a subset of the Bloods street gang, said federal prosecutors.
Federal prosecutors say the men ran an open-air drug market on West 3rd Street in Plainfield, where they sold heroin, cocaine and fentanyl. Here is the federal criminal complaint, which was unsealed May 2.

The nine men criminally charged are:
- Jerry Ross, 46, of Somerset
- Joseph Ross, 42, of Rahway
- Luis Delvalle, 41, Pernell White, 36, and Jaquay Bell, 35, all of Piscataway
- Andre Gaddy, 31, of North Plainfield
- Jacob Douglas, 42, Tarrell Strond, 42, and Tayeire Thomas, 26, all of Plainfield
All nine men are charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, heroin and cocaine. Six of the men have been arrested; Douglas, White and Thomas remain at large.

For several months, federal agents have been doing undercover surveillance on the men, made numerous undercover purchases of the drugs, and analyzed telephone records.
This case was investigated by:

- The Union County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Prosecutor William Daniel and Chief Harvey Barnwell
- Plainfield Police, under Director James Abney and Captain Brian Newman
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection, under the direction of Port Director TenaVel Thomas, Port of New York/Newark
- Perth Amboy Police under the direction of Chief Lawrence Catano
- Prosecutors with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice under the direction of New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin
- NJ State Police
