Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Middlesex County is currently seeking volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children in foster care.
CASA volunteers ensure that neglected foster children are well cared for, placed in safe homes, and are receiving the services they need. They report to the local court on behalf of the foster children they are serving.
A background in working with children or social work is not required, according to a release from the organization. All volunteers will be trained by CASA of Middlesex County.
