Discounted baked goods from La Bonbonniere Bake Shops will benefit local nonprofit Elijah's Promise for the month of October.
The Edison-based bakery is celebrating it's 60th anniversary this month and is offering special "roll-back" prices on several items during the week of Oct. 22 through Oct. 28. The prices reflect the prices of the day when the bakery opened in 1952.
Selections include 52 cent cupcakes, $1.52 rye bread, 52 cent cannoli, and all proceeds from the reduced price items will benefit Elijah's Promise.

Additionally, a raffle will be held daily for customers to win items like free coffee or a dozen cupcakes for a year.
The event culminates with an anniversary celebration on Oct. 28 at all bakery locations, in which 10 percent of all sales from the day will be donated to Elijah's Promise. Free cake slices will be handed out, and a drawing for a 32” LCD television will also be held.
