Gentle Giants Rescue and Sanctuary of Wayne will be the beneficiary of a hair cutting event at on Aug. 8 that will be cutting hair, bathing dogs and bringing out several dogs that are available for adoption.
Appointments and walk-ins will be accepted the day of the fundraiser. The suggested donation is $20, which will cover the cost of an exam for one dog at the sanctuary, according to a press release about the event.
Pedigree Pet Spa will also be at Sparks the day of the fundraiser, giving baths to dogs.
Gentle Giants will have several dogs that are available for adoption at the event.
The 50 States Tour is presented by BarkAID, an organization that raises funds and awareness for homeless animals, according to the release.
