"How to Get Published" Workshop at the New Brunswick Free Public Library

Do you have a piece of story that you want to submit to national magazines but don’t know how to do it? Do you have a passion in writing but not sure how to put your ideas together? The New Brunswick Free Public Library is offering a workshop that will help making your dream of becoming a writer come true.

It does not matter if you are a recent college graduate or a grandma of three, if you enjoy writing, there are several options for getting your work out to the world. You can blog, write a book, publish an eBook, submit articles to journals and magazines, or post on websites.  The workshop will break down each option so you can determine which type of publishing is best for you and how to do it.

The workshop will be presented by Terri Huggins. She is a dedicated journalist and freelance writer who has published in Redbook, Contemporary Bride Magazine, Caribbean Travel + Life, and on various websites. She also does editorial reviews for books and writes press releases for private companies and public agencies.

The free workshop will be on Wednesday, August 8, at 7 p.m. To register, please call the Reference Desk at (732) 745-5108 ext.20 or email htang@lmxac.org.
