The Zimmerli Art Museum has announced that its "Art After Hours" program will begin at 5 p.m. Sept. 5 with an opening reception for the exhibit "Art=Text=Art:Works by Contemporary Artists".
Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors ages 65 and older, and free for Rutgers students and faculty, children under 18 and museum members.
Marilyn Symmes, the museum’s Curator of Prints and Drawings and Director of the Morse Research Center for Graphic Arts, and Rachel Nackman, curator of the Kramarsky Collection will lead a tour of the exhibit, which features works by 48 artists, including Carl Andre, Alice Aycock, Jasper Johns and John Waters.

A jazz performance will begin at 7 p.m. by the Eric Mintel Quartet.
