Arrest In Fatal DWI Crash On Route 1 In New Brunswick: Prosecutor
Prosecutors announced an arrest was made in a fatal DWI crash, the second deadly accident on the same NJ highway in two days, officials say.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Prosecutors announced late Friday an arrest was made in a fatal DWI crash on Route 1 this week.
Arsalan Gul, 21, Edison was charged with vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated in a crash that killed a 32-year-old man on Thursday night, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

The crash happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. when New Brunswick Police officers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles, the MCPO said.
An investigation determined that Gul, who was driving an Infiniti sedan, crashed into a Honda Civic, causing it to then strike a Lexus SUV in the adjacent lane, the MCPO said.

The driver of the Civic, Brian O’Donnell, 32, of Robinsville was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the MCPO said.
An investigation determined Gul was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol and a controlled dangerous substance, the MCPO said.
Gul is currently being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center pending a Detention Hearing.
