Break-In At Zimmerli Art Museum On Rutgers Campus

There was a break-in to the Zimmerli Art Museum on the Rutgers campus Tuesday night, according to Rutgers University Police.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — There was a break-in to the Zimmerli Art Museum on the Rutgers campus Tuesday night, according to Rutgers University Police.

Someone broke into the building between the hours of 8:24 and 8:42 p.m. They entered the building through an unlocked door and removed cash from a donation box.

A description of the perpetrators is limited at this time. Rutgers University Police Department requests that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, contact the RUPD’s Detective Bureau at 848-932-8025.

The Zimmerli Art Museum is located at 71 Hamilton Street in New Brunswick.
