Candlelight Vigil, Jewish Food and Culture Discussion Today in New Brunswick

A guide to daily happenings in New Brunswick.

1. Discuss Jewish culture and its attachment to food and the world at a panel discussion scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Douglass Campus Center. Admission is free. 

2. Women Aware, a domestic violence intervention and advocacy nonprofit headquartered in New Brunswick, will host a candlelight vigil for victims of domestic violence at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Monument Square, located at the corner of George Street and Livingston Avenue. Members of the public are welcome to join them.

3. Children between the ages of 7-12 are invited to the New Brunswick Free Public Library at 4 p.m. today to build and fly paper airplanes. Click here for more children's events at the library.
