Organized by Middlesex County, the following are two opportunities to volunteer:
Spring Spruce Up: This Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. - noon at Thompson Park in Monroe Township. Work with the Middlesex County Cooperative Extension/Rutgers to spruce up the park’s rain garden, shoreline restoration project and hiking trails.

National Trails Day: Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. - noon at the Thompson Park Conservation Area in Monroe Township. Join other volunteers for trail maintenance and habitat improvements.
