Today is the final date of the season for the New Brunswick Community Farmers Market's Kilmer Square Park location. The market will continue to operate its weekly Jones Avenue location until Thanksgiving, according to market manager Paul Helms.
Despite the final date, the market hosted a brand-new small business in New Brunswick: Corazon Kitchen.
Aided by Elijah's Promise and Unity Square, Corazon Kitchen is a small business operated by city residents who make and sell mole sauces and spice blends. On Wednesday, they also had Calavera candy (sugar skulls) in honor of Dia De Los Muertos.
