Citizens Campaign and the New Jersey Hyperlocal News Association will hold a seminar for local journalists and concerned citizens on how to best keep track of local elections, political contributions and the races for government in their town.
According to a release from the Citizen's Campaign, speakers include Patrick Murray, director of the Polling Institute at Monmouth University, Joseph Donohue, deputy director of the Election Law Enforcement Commission, Nick Acocella, editor of PolitiFax, and Joe Malinconico, editor or PatersonPress.com (and a contributing writer with New Brunswick Patch).
