Podiatrist Peter Wishnie will purchase the trick or treating spoils of local children at $1 a pound at his Piscataway office.
All candy that comes into the doctor's office will be donated to a patient of Wishnie's, who sews clothing for children in need, and includes pieces of candy with each article of clothing.
The office will offer trick or treaters $1 per pound of candy they bring in.
