Middlesex County Gun Surrender Program and Triggerlock Giveaway

The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office is holding a gun surrender program in the Parish Hall of Sacred Heart Church.

$80 will be paid for operable handguns, and $150 will be paid for operable assault weapons.

Guns must be unloaded, wrapped and tied up, and put into a box, bag or case to be surrendered.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, no questions will be asked, and participants are not in danger of being arrested for turning in a firearm.

An additional surrender date will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 22 in the Parish Hall.
