Fundraising Yard Sale Slated for Sept. 29
The large yard sale on Livingston Avenue donates proceeds to benefit nonprofit organizations around New Brunswick.

The Second Ward Neighborhood Block Club and Crime Watch will host its annual fundraising yard sale at 9 a.m. Sept. 29 at 123 Livingston Ave.
Organizers are seeking donations of gently used, easy to move items to be sold at the sale during the week of Sept. 24. Volunteers are also needed to assist with sorting and pricing on the evenings of Sept. 26 and Sept. 28.
Volunteers are also needed on the day of the sale, starting at 7 a.m.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit local organizations, and in the past, have benefited groups like Elijah's Promise and the Friends of the New Brunswick Free Public Library, according to organizer Morris Kafka.
