New Noodle Bar Offers Free Meals To Local First Responders, Hospital Workers
Kanji Noodle Bar is celebrating their Piscataway store opening with a complimentary meal for local first responders and hospital workers.
PISCATAWAY, NJ — Lovers of Japanese cuisine have a new spot for ramen, yakisoba, gyoza, and takoyaki as Kanji Noodle Bar recently opened in Piscataway.
The restaurant is planning a grand opening in December at its first New Jersey location in the Piscataway Town Center. As a thank you for their hard work during COVID-19, Kanji Noodle Bar is hoping to feed more than 100 first responders and hospital workers.
The grand opening is at 4 p.m. Dec. 8 at 1326 Centennial Avenue in the Town Center.

A dozen types of ramen are on the menu at Kanji Noodle Bar; customers can choose the type of noodles as well as toppings. Some of the ramen choices include Premium Miso, Supreme Tonkotsu, Vegetable Yassai, and Tan Tan.

Appetizers on offer include edamame, seaweed salad, shishito peppers, gyoza, karaage chicken and Kanji wings, Japanese seafood pancake, and Takoyaki.
Kanji Noodle Bar also serves bao buns, donburi (simple Japanese rice bowls), and Japanese stir-fry noodles (yakisoba).
The 2,800 square-foot eatery will be able to seat 120 people, according to a news release from the company.
Kanji Noodle Bar has several other locations in the northeast, and a few sprinkled throughout the midwestern and southern United States.
Kanji Noodle Bar says it will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. through 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Prices range from $4.95 to $10.95 for appetizers, and $14.95 to $19.95 for ramen compositions, the company said.
