Home Invasion Reported on Easton Avenue
An Easton Avenue home, adjacent to the Rutgers SAS building, was burglarized on Thursday night, police say.
A home on Easton Avenue was the site of an armed robbery Thursday night.
According to a Nixle alert from the Rutgers Police Department, between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, two men reportedly entered a home on Easton Avenue between Hamilton Street and Mine Street, brandishing a handgun and demanding money.
After the victims gave the men money, the two fled in a two-door white vehicle, according to the alert.
No injuries were reported.
A description of the suspects was not provided, and is "limited at this time," according to the alert.
