3 Volunteer Opportunities In Middlesex County Parks This September - November

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — The Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation just published the following volunteer opportunities.

All are hosted by the county, and held from September to November. They are perfect for Scout troops, religious groups, corporate volunteer events, families or anyone looking to help out and give back to their county parks.

  • September 27 at Ireland Brook Conservation Area in East Brunswick: From 9 a.m. - noon, celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping with trail maintenance and ongoing restoration projects at the Ireland Brook Conservation Area on Riva Avenue.
  • Oct. 18: in South Amboy: Clean up the shoreline at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park. Organized by Clean Ocean Action. 9 a.m. - noon. Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, 201 John T O’Leary Blvd. South Amboy, NJ 08879
  • Nov. 15 at Davidson's Mill Pond Park in North Brunswick: Celebrate Fall Trails Day by helping with trail maintenance and habitat improvements at Davidson’s Mill Pond Park. 9 a.m. - noon. Davidson’s Mill Pond Park Riva Ave. North Brunswick, NJ 08902
