Join Middlesex County’s Walk With A Doc This Fall: Stroke Awareness
The county offers free walking sessions with a doctor in Piscataway's Johnson Park, where the doctor will talk about stroke warning signs.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — This autumn, Middlesex County offers free walking sessions with a doctor in Piscataway's Johnson Park, where the doctor will talk about warning signs of a stroke.
The series will take place from September to November at Johnson Park. Over three events, participants will learn how to recognize the warning signs of a stroke, explore treatment options, understand risk factors and learn about stroke prevention strategies.
All walks are free and open to the public; no registration is required. Children are welcome.

All dates are 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. They will also give out free blood pressure screenings.

- Oct. 2: Types of strokes and emergency treatment. Rain date: Oct. 8
