Man Fatally Stabbed In Fight On New Brunswick Street

Authorities found the man on a sidewalk with a large wound to his abdomen.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – A 23-year-old man was killed following a street fight in New Brunswick on Wednesday, Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.

On Wednesday, around 10:55 p.m., the New Brunswick Police Department received a 911 call reporting that someone was bleeding profusely on Seamen Street, police said.

On arrival, authorities found Gonzalo Napoleon Quispez-Parades, 23, of New Brunswick, unconscious on the sidewalk with a large wound to his abdomen. Quispez-Parades was pronounced dead at the scene, Ciccone said.

According to an initial investigation, Quispez-Parades had been in a fight and sustained serious injuries as a result.

The Prosecutor’s Office and New Brunswick Police are investigating the incident.
