If your Scout troop, religious group or company is looking for ways to be of service, Middlesex County has three clean-ups planned:
SOUTH AMBOY, NJ — The Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation offers the following volunteer opportunities this spring:
Beach clean-up with Clean Ocean Action April 12 in South Amboy: On Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, join hundreds of volunteers to clean up the shoreline at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in a statewide event with Clean Ocean Action. Raritan Bay Waterfront Park is located at 201 John T O’Leary Blvd. in South Amboy, NJ 08879
Spring spruce-up May 17 in Monroe: On Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, work with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County to improve Thompson Park’s rain garden, shoreline restoration project and hiking trails. Thompson Park is located at Forsgate Drive, Monroe Township, NJ 08831

National Trails Day June 7 in East Brunswick: On Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, celebrate National Trails Day by helping with trail maintenance and habitat improvements at the Ireland Brook Conservation Area (581 Riva Ave., East Brunswick, NJ)
