Middlesex County Outdoor Summer Concert Schedule
Held at four different parks across Middlesex County, there are free outdoor live music concerts every week this summer:
SOUTH AMBOY, NJ — Get ready to enjoy a series of free outdoor concerts at four different parks in Middlesex County from June to August this summer.
It's the "Music-in-the-Park" concert series funded by Middlesex County. The concerts are held in four different locations across Middlesex County to make it easy for all residents to attend: South Amboy, Carteret, Plainfield and Monroe Twp.
All you need to bring is your favorite lawn chair and love of music. These free events are open to the public. Throughout the summer, visit http://www.middlesexcountynj.gov/artsandculture for full details on all the concerts and more.

Here is the summer 2023 schedule and locations:
South Amboy: The following concerts are held at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, O’Leary Boulevard in South Amboy on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Jamesburg/Monroe Township: The concerts are held in Thompson Park on Forsgate Drive in Monroe on Wednesday afternoons from 2-3:30 p.m.

- August 2 St. Peters Brass

South Plainfield: The concerts are held in Spring Lake Park on Plainfield Avenue on Sundays from 6-7:30 p.m.

- July 23 Sandy Sasso and her Swingin’ Big Band
- July 30 Jersey Polka Stars
- August 6 Perry Brothers
- August 13 Greg Giannascoli, Marimba

Carteret: The following concerts are held at Joseph Medwick Park on Post Boulevard in Carteret on Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m.

And get ready in September for Middlesex County's Roaring '20s Jazz Festival held at the East Jersey Old Town Village in Piscataway from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. September 23.
