NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — As the humid, excessive heat refuses to give New Jersey a break, the city of New Brunswick has again declared a Code Red for Thursday.
This means that it is dangerous or life threatening for people to spend excessive time outside or be without air conditioning.
To that end, an emergency cooling center for New Brunswick city residents or the homeless is available Thursday from 12 to 7 p.m. at Unity Square Community Center at 81 Remsen Ave. All are welcome.
