New Brunswick Opens Cooling Center Tuesday

With temperatures expected to reach as high as 105 degrees Tuesday, New Brunswick will again open a cooling center at 81 Remsen Avenue.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — With temperatures expected to reach as high as 105 degrees Tuesday in many parts of New Jersey, the city of New Brunswick will again open a cooling center from 12 to 7 p.m. at Unity Square Community Center.

Due to excessive heat, a Code Red has been called for the city of New Brunswick.

An emergency cooling center for residents who are without shelter is available Tuesday from 12 to 7 p.m. at Unity Square Community Center at 81 Remsen Avenue.
