American Family Care (AFC), the nation’s leading provider of urgent care and accessible primary care, is now open in the heart of Somerset. AFC Somerset is located at 120 Cedar Grove Lane in the Cedar Grove Shopping Center in Franklin Township.

“We’re thrilled to increase access to affordable healthcare for a variety of immediate needs in Somerset,” said Imran Fayazi, independent owner and operator of AFC Somerset. “Our mission is to provide a comprehensive suite of medical services for our community’s urgent and routine needs.”

AFC Somerset provides a comprehensive range of services, including physicals, pediatric urgent care, lab testing, vaccinations, and x-rays. The center is open seven days a week and has early morning and evening hours to accommodate working families. Patients can walk into AFC Somerset without an appointment anytime Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for help.

AFC Somerset is open seven days a week. No appointment is needed. The facility offers urgent care, accessible primary care as well as occupational medicine.

This new AFC location was born out of Fayazi’s dinner conversation about the growing demand for urgent care. The Fayazis saw it as a unique opportunity to work together as a family. Imran serves as the managing partner, while his mom, Aliya, DNP, FNP, sees patients as a provider at the clinic. Imran’s aunt, Arshiya, paused her legal career to play a key role as the center’s administrator. Additionally, new Jersey general surgeon Dr. Aziz Sadiq, D.O., serves as AFC Somerset’s medical director.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to work with my family,” said Imran. “To us, this isn’t just a business venture but an opportunity for us to grow together and create a legacy. We look forward to treating our patients as if they are a part of our family.”
