New Piscataway Wawa Announces Opening Date

PISCATAWAY, NJ — The new Wawa located on Centennial Avenue in Piscataway will open its doors next Thursday, Dec. 4.

The Wawa is located at 88 Centennial Avenue, and they will have giveaways on that day, such as free t-shirts for the first 100 customers and free any-size hot coffee.

There will also be the customary hoagie building competition between local first responders.

There will be a countdown at 7:55 a.m. and then doors open for the first time at 8 a.m. Wawa general manager Nicholas Bloodgood will host. Wawa’s mascot Wally Goose will be there, dancing.

Customers are invited to participate in a brief ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. to celebrate the new store opening.
