Person Shot In New Brunswick

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A person was shot Wednesday night in New Brunswick, according to Rutgers University Police.
The person was shot at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the Recreation Park parking lot on Pine Street, said police.
Witnesses reported that the victim was shot by an unknown perpetrator and the suspects fled the area. The shooting victim was taken to a local hospital. Police have not released the age or gender of the student.
