Piscataway Woman Killed In 287 Crash Tuesday

Her husband was driving on I-287 through Edison when he rear-ended a box truck, said State Police. She was killed in the crash.

EDISON, NJ — A 72-year-old Piscataway woman was killed in a two-car crash on I-287 south in Edison Tuesday morning, New Jersey State Police said.

The collision occurred around 10:36 a.m. in Edison Township. Judith Kennen of Piscataway was pronounced dead. Her husband, Albert Kennen, 77, received minor injuries, said State Police.

Albert Kennen was driving a Honda minivan, which struck the rear of a box truck in the area of milepost 1.6., said police.

The driver of the box truck reported no injuries at the scene and remained on location following the crash, authorities said.

The crash remains under investigation.
