UPDATED: Police Break Up 200-Deep Crowd of Students in New Brunswick

Delafield Street was a chaotic scene on Saturday as police responded to an unruly crowd of mostly Rutgers students, according to a report on NJ.com.

"Hundreds" of students were partying on Delafield Street near Saint Peter's University Hospital when police were called in shortly after 5 p.m. to disperse the crowd, according to the report.

A riot squad was brought in using shields and pepper spray after a couch was set aflame and some students threw bottles at police.

"Several arrests" were made, according to the report.
