Police Seek Information in Fatal Sunday Hit-and-Run

Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a New Brunswick man on Sunday morning.

According to Cpt. J.T. Miller of New Brunswick police, Alvaro Ortega Santiago, 41, was crossing the northbound side of Route 18 at George Street when he was struck by a dark blue vehicle at 12:07 a.m. Sunday.

The vehicle left the scene, Miller said. No further information on the vehicle was available.

Santiago's injuries were fatal, Miller said.
