Purse Snatched, Shots Fired in Two Thursday Incidents
No injuries were reported in either incident.

Police are investigating two Thursday incidents in New Brunswick.
Around 1 a.m. Thursday, five shots were fired in the vicinity of Georges Road and N. Talmadge Street, according to Cpt. J.T. Miller of New Brunswick Police.
Nobody was reported hit by the shots, he said.

Later that day near the intersection of Lee Avenue and Redmond Street, a 41-year-old woman was walking on the street around 7:50 p.m. Thursday when her purse was snatched by an unidentified man on a bicycle.
Miller said the woman did not get a good enough look at the man to provide a description.

Police are investigating both incidents, Miller said.
