Rutgers Student Injured In Street Fight Saturday Night
During an altercation involving multiple people, someone brandished an edged weapon and began swinging it, said police.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A Rutgers New Brunswick student was involved in a street altercation Saturday night, and police say he was injured with a weapon.
Police say the aggravated assault occurred at approximately 12:47 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Stone Street and College Avenue, very close to the Rutgers-New Brunswick campus.
The victim, who is affiliated with Rutgers University, reported that during an altercation involving multiple people, someone brandished an edged weapon and began swinging it at the people involved in the altercation.

The victim sustained a minor, non-life threatening injury. The victim was treated by Rutgers Emergency Services before refusing further medical attention.
