South Plainfield Boy, 2, Clinging To Life After Near Drowning In Pool
At 7:36 p.m. Saturday, South Plainfield Police received a 911 call reporting a child was found in a backyard pool and wasn't breathing:
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — The same day a four-year-old boy died after he drowned in a backyard pool in North Brunswick, a two-year-old boy in South Plainfield is now clinging to life after a near-drowning in that town, as well.
At 7:36 p.m. Saturday, May 25, South Plainfield Police received a 911 call reporting a child was found in a backyard pool and wasn’t breathing. This was at a home on Palmer Avenue in South Plainfield.
Upon arrival, police performed CPR on the two-year-old and transported him to JFK Hospital in Edison. He remains there in critical condition as of Wednesday afternoon.
