Three Events to Hit Up in New Brunswick This Weekend
Check out the Raritan River Festival, Arts in the Park or Hub City Sounds.

It's never too early to begin planning for the weekend. Here are three events that should be interesting and fun!
1. The Raritan River Festival: This is the weekend's big event in New Brunswick on Sunday. Hosted by the Beez Foundation, it will will transform Boyd Park into an outdoor festival of crafters, food, music, events for families, including a cardboard canoe race, a BurgerMania cookoff, and the annual Rubber Duck Race. Big Top Judaism will also host a honey tasting. Admission is free.
2. The final performance of Hub City Sounds will take the stage this weekend at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Brunswick High School. American Repertory Ballet will present a piece, and George Street Playhouse's Touring Education Department will present "New Kid," a show intended for children in grades K-5. Admission is free.
3. Across the Albany Street Bridge, Highland Park will hold Arts in the Park from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Food vendors, crafters, music, an art show and other fun things are planned.
