Three Fun Things to Do in New Brunswick This Weekend
It's never too early to begin thinking about the weekend.

1. Visit The Village in East Jersey Olde Towne Village, 1050 River Road, Piscataway at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 for ghost stories. Actors from the Traveling Literary Theatre will dress in period attire and read classic and new ghost stories, according to a press release from the county.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is free, but registration is required by calling (732) 745-3030.
2. Brides Against Breast Cancer will be at Hyatt Regency New Brunswick from 1-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 with a bridal show, hundreds of discounted dresses for sale and giveaways. Admission is $5.
3. Walk across the Albany Street Bridge to Highland Park, where Pino's Gift Basket Shoppe & Wine Cellar will host an outdoor Harvest Party and Cookoff from noon-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20. Listen to live music in the beer garden while eating food from Destination Dogs. Or, if you're in the mood to bake, enter your apple or pumpkin creations in the cookoff.
