Three Fun Things to Do in New Brunswick This Weekend
It's never too early to begin thinking about the weekend.
1. Christ United Methodist Church in Piscataway will hold its annual fall bazaar from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2. A number of different types of items will be available for sale. The church is located at 485 Hoes Lane, Piscataway.
2. The New Brunswick Free Public Library and Lazos America Unida will hold a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) cultural celebration from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at the library. Music, dance, artwork and traditional Mexican refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
3. Elijah's Promise will hold their annual Turkey Trot at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. Walk or jog the 3K trek at Buccleuch Park while sampling delicious bites along the way, all for the purpose of raising money for the soup kitchen.
