Carjacking Reported Sunday In New Brunswick
Four men showed a weapon and forced the victim out of their car at 1:50 a.m. near the intersection of Nichol Ave. and Sandford Street
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Four men carjacked a car Sunday night in the city of New Brunswick, said Rutgers University Police, which are investigating the crime with the New Brunswick Police Department.
The four men showed a weapon and forced the person out of the vehicle; they then got into the car and drove off, said police. However, Rutgers Police are not revealing what kind of weapon they showed.
This happened at 12:50 a.m. near the intersection of Nichol Avenue and Sandford Street.

The victim reported that four perpetrators approached their vehicle and displayed weapons before ordering them out of the car. Rutgers Police also did not say the make and model of the car, nor did they reveal the age of the victim. Police did say the victim is not affiliated with Rutgers.
The four perpetrators then fled the scene in the victim's vehicle, which was recovered a short time later.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
