Woman Shot In New Brunswick Thursday Evening

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A woman was shot Thursday evening in New Brunswick, the city announced on Facebook.
The woman, 36 and a resident of New Brunswick, was shot at approximately 6:05 p.m. in the area of Remsen Avenue between Redmond and Townsend streets.
She was shot outside in the street, and she suffered a single gunshot wound to her lower back. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
