5 Things to Do In (and near) New Milford This Weekend

1. Shop Rite's Blood Drive: Give the gift of life by stopping by Shop Rite on River Rd. to donate a pint of blood today from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. O- and O+ blood types are especially needed. 

2. The Art Center of Northern New Jersey Small Works Show & Sale: Great way to find a unique holiday gift for that hard-to-please person. Original works of art on display for sale. 250 Center Street, New Milford.

3. Dance Dimensions Holiday Shop Fundraiser: Dance Dimensions competition team is hosting this fundraiser on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Milford Athletic Club, 126 Boulevard. Holiday gifts, stocking stuffers, costume jewelry, candles, cosmetics, pocketbooks and more. Santa will be there for a visit with the kids.

4. Sinter Klaas Day at Historic New Bridge Landing: Celebrate the old Dutch tradition of Santa Claus at New Bridge Landing on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

5. Holiday Tree Lighting with a visit from Santa: Come to Borough Hall and join your neighbors as the town's tree is lit. The Fire Dpt. will bring Santa for a visit with the kids. 

And don't forget to have your children mail their letters to Santa. Santa's mailbox is right in front of Borough Hall on River Rd.
