5 Things To Do Tuesday Night

Put Back to School on the back burner and get out and enjoy the waning days (and nights) of summer. Here’s what’s going on tonight.
1. Waldwick Lions Club Family Days Carnival. Nothing screams summer like a night at the carnival. And tonight is $20 wristband night! The Carnival is being held at The Forum School, Wyckoff Ave. & Monroe St., Waldwick; 7 p.m.
2. Behind the Times at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern. Spend the evening with the family at an original 19th Century Tavern on the Hudson. Enjoy musical sing-a-longs and a special reading from a story, poem or essay of the day. There will be games and fun for children. Light food and drink available. Donations appreciated. Kearney House Tavern is located at the Alpine Boat Basin, PIP Exit 2; 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

3. Sunset Hike at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center. Enjoy the beauty of summer and take a sunset hike along the trails of Flat Rock Brook Nature Center. Hikes are about 2-3 miles and are a great and relaxing way to end your day. Meet at the parking lot gazebo. Free for members, $5 for non-members. Flat Rock Brook Nature Center is located at 443 Van Nostrand Avenue in Englewood; 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
4. Teaneck Movies Under the Stars. Bring the family and enjoy tonight’s showing of Despicable Me under the stars at the Votee Park Band Shell, Palisade Ave., Teaneck; 7:30 p.m.

5. Enjoy Jersey Sound Doo Wop tonight at the Paramus Bandshell Terrific Tuesdays Free Concert Series. The Paramus Bandshell is located behind Paramus Library, 116 Century Rd.; 7:30 p.m.
