New Milford Man Assaulted Police Officers: Authorities
Patrick Lee, 23, clenched his fists, lunged at offices, and got into a scuffle with police, authorities said.
NEW MILFORD, NJ — A New Milford man was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer after he fought with police at a borough home Sunday, police said.
Patrick Lee, 23, was also charged with disorderly conduct, said Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders.
Police went to a home shortly after 8:15 p.m. on a report of an unwanted party, Van Saders said. Lee was belligerent and "verbally combative" with officers, he said.

Lee clenched his fists and lunged towards officers to try to assault them, Van Saders said. Police scuffled with Lee and took him into custody, he said.
The officers were not injured. Lee was taken to New Bridge Medical Center for treatment, the lieutenant said. He was issued a summons and a first appearance court date.
