Shop Rite Offers Free Antibiotic Program
Shop Rite doesn't only want to balance your diet, they want to help you balance your finances in these difficult economic times

With ear infections and strep throat making the rounds in schools, it's officially antibiotic season.
Regardless of whether or not your family is insured, or whether or not you have a prescription plan, Shop Rite Pharmacy is offering a free antibiotics program.
A Shop Rite spokesperson said that this program is being offered at all Shop Rite Pharmacy locations, and it is scheduled to run indefinitely.

Available to anyone with a valid prescription, there are no membership requirements and you do not have to present an insurance card or make any additional purchases.
All of the antibiotics Shop Rite Pharmacy distributes are "high quality FDA approved generic drugs." The pharmacist will even contact your doctor to discuss whether your antibiotic prescription can be converted to the generic brand. This program also includes refills as well.

If you have a prescription for antibiotics with another pharmacy, but would like to transfer it to Shop Rite, the pharmacist can assist you with doing that.
Here is a list of some of the antibiotics covered in this program. They are all offered in tablet, capsule or liquid form.

- Cephalexin
- Ciprofloxacin
- Doxycycline Hyclate
- Erythromycin
