1 Killed In Union County Shooting On Thursday Night
The victim was a Hillside resident who was found by police in the 1400 block of North Broad Street before 10 p.m.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — A man died during a shooting that occurred Thursday night in Hillside, according to the Union County prosecutor.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Steven Zimmerman of Hillside.
Hillside police found him in the 1400 block of North Broad Street before 10 p.m. with serious injuries, and he was later pronounced dead, Prosecutor William Daniel said.

The Union County Homicide Task Force is investigating the shooting, assisted by Hillside police, Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit, and Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit.
