BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ —Introducing 20 Questions, a new feature on Patch in which we aim get to know people around town by, well, asking them 20 questions.

Profession: Managing partner, Keywood Strategies LLC

Education: Bachelor of Arts, Kean University, political science

Family members: George (husband), Ryan (son), 17, Abbey (daughter) 11, both named with references to The Beatles

Pets: Lucy, Scottish terrier; Cooper, red wheaten Scottish terrier (my favorite of the two) — Allister passed away in June; yes, we are "those people" who usually have 3 dogs at all times.

Birthplace: Grand Junction, Colorado; I moved to New Jersey freshman year of high school attended and graduated from Roselle Park High School.

Favorite hobby: Outdoor running

Favorite sports team: New York Mets

Last book you read? "A Man Called Ove"

Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi? I hate soda; I am a Tazo iced green tea gal

What's your go-to local breakfast place? I'm eating (mostly) vegan so that's a hard call. Home would have to be my breakfast place.

What was the last concert you went to? Ariana Grande with my daughter, friends, and husband

What's your go-to pizza place? Chimney Rock serves vegan pizza, but if I am eating cheese then it has to be Dimaios and Clemente's

What scary movie still gives you nightmares? I love scary movies! Balancing the municipal budget gives me nightmares!

What would you choose as your last meal? Eggplant parm

What's playing now on your car radio? Alt Nation, every day, but occasionally E Street Radio when loud, off-key signing in the car is required.

If you could invite one person from history over for dinner, who would it be and why? Recent history: The Obamas. History, history: Susan B. Anthony; I would want to know how her struggles as a woman and leader and how they differ from today.

What was the best day of your life? Many: Recently when my 17-year-old told me that he is the happiest he has ever been in his life; being sworn into office as the first elected woman mayor with the support of the girls who help to administer the oath of office; the joy I felt when each one of my children were born; and marrying my soul mate.

Advice your mother gave you that you now know to be true? My mother use to say "you will soar like an eagle if you believe in yourself." I try to pay it forward with the people I meet and my children by giving the same advice.
