Annual Jingle Bell 5K Run Set For Dec. 10
Proceeds from the race, at The Mills at Jersey Gardens, will benefit the Children's Specialized Hospital's Chronic Pain Management Program.
ELIZABETH, NJ — The Mills at Jersey Gardens and the Elizabeth PBA Local #4 will once again host the 7th annual Jingle Bell 5K Run on Sunday, Dec. 10.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Children’s Specialized Hospital's Chronic Pain Management Program. Since 2015, The Mills at Jersey Gardens raised more than $26,000 for Children’s Specialized Hospital.
The Fun Run with Santa will kick off at 8:15 a.m. followed by the USATF-certified 5K race at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and costs $40 ($35 prior to race day) where pre-registered participants will receive special Jingle Bell 5K gear, a swag bag and jingle bells to attach to shoes.

Following the race, an awards ceremony and complimentary pancake breakfast will be served in the Dining Emporium. Nearly $1,000 in gift cards will be awarded for top men and women finishers in an awards ceremony that will be taking place at 9:30 a.m. Special sponsors include IKEA and IHOP and Modell’s Sporting Goods at The Mills at Jersey Gardens.
“We are proud to continue to support the lifechanging work of Children’s Specialized Hospital,” said Orlando Barros, Elizabeth PBA Local #4 president. “The pediatric specialists are committed individuals who work tirelessly to improve the health and wellness of the children who face special health challenges, so we look forward to coordinating the run for their benefit each year.”
