BERKELEY HEIGHTS/NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — Results from the 2019 Berkeley Heights and New Providence municipal elections are in.

Berkeley Heights

Four people ran for two, three-year terms on the Township Council.

In New Providence, three people ran unopposed for three-year terms on the Borough Council: Democrat John Keane and Republicans Michele Matsikoudis and Robert Munoz. Keane received 1,457 votes, Matsikoudis received 1,912 votes, and Munoz received 1,880 votes.

Two people ran unopposed for seats on the board of education: Bernadette Cuccaro and Joseph Walsh. Cuccaro received 2,217 votes and Walsh received 2,179 votes.
