Berkeley Heights Teen Wins Regional Miss India Contest
Pulkita Dua, of Berkeley Heights, grabbed the Miss India for NJ, Pennsylvania, and Delaware crown at a Woodbridge pageant.

Pulkita Dua, a 17-year-old senior at Union County Magnet High School in Scotch Plains, was crowned as Miss India New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Delaware, according to a NJ.com report.
Dua won the top pageant title at a Nov. 3 gala at the Royal Albert Palace in the Fords section of Woodbridge. Dua also competed for the top crown title, Miss India USA, Saturday at the same Fords venue, according to a News India Times article.
The teen, who moved to the United States when she was four, lives in Berkeley Heights with her family, NJ.com reported.
Saturday's winners were Monica Gill from Massachusetts, who was crowned as Miss India USA 2013, and Alycia, a Georgia teen, who received the Miss Teen India USA 2013 title, according to a pageant site, WorldWidePageants.com.
