2021/2022 Parking Permits will expire on March 31th and MUST be renewed no later than April 12, 2022.  Any permit not renewed during this period will be forfeited.  Renewal letters have been mailed out .  Be sure to renew before the deadline!

This year, permit holders will have the option to renew their permits through an Online submission, through the mail, or in-person.

The online submission allows permit holders to quickly submit their renewal and pay by credit card.  In order to use the any of the Online Payment Forms, you must be signed into your account with BerkeleyHeights.gov.  If you don't already have an account, it's quick and easy to create one.  All permits renewed online will be promptly mailed out.

Online submissions are being accepted now.  You do NOT need to wait for your renewal notice in the mail.

Once you receive your renewal letter in the mail you will be able to renew your permit through the mail or in-person.  All permits renewed via the renewal letter will be mailed, unless otherwise noted.

Once you receive your renewal letter in the mail, complete the required information and return the completed application, proof of residency (Utility Bill or Bank Statement issued within the last 90 days) and a check (made payable to Township of Berkeley Heights) to the Township Clerk's office.

The Annual Permit fees for the 2022/2023 Parking Permits are as follows:

  • Berkeley Heights Residents = $ 350.00
  • Non-Resident = $ 930.00
  • No Replacements Or Refunds Will Be Given For ANY Reason.
  • Parking Is On A First Come First Serve Basis.
  • A Parking Permit Does NOT Guarantee A Parking Space.

Due to the high demand, the Township of Berkeley Heights currently maintains a waitlist.  To be added to the waitlist, complete the appropriate form below.

If you submitted a Waitlist Application in the past you do NOT need to submit a new one.   If you have questions about the waitlist, your status, or even if you don't remember whether or not you already submitted, feel free to contact the Clerk's Office at 908-464-2700, option 4.
