Celebrity Chef Cooks Up Appetizer Magic at The Park in Berkeley Heights

Rocco DiSpirito brought elevated appetizers and hands-on culinary tips to Berkeley Heights

This past week, Celebrity Chef Rocco Dispirito visited Berkeley Heights to teach a special interactive session on The Art of the Appetizer. Chef Rocco walked through how to create elevated appetizers, helping attendees to prepare for holiday hosting or contributing to potlucks. Phyllo Crusted Shrimp with Sweet and Spicy Mustard Sauce, Crudo of Bigeye Tuna with Avocado and Furikake, Warm Crab Dip and Meatball Sliders were several of the recipes that were demonstrated. Attendees came home with not only that knowledge but also received a take-home recipe card pack as well.

The event took place at the Test Kitchen at The Park, the mixed-use destination neighborhood that’s emerging in Berkeley Heights. Currently undergoing a $500M redevelopment, The Park is transitioning from a traditional office park to a full-service live, work play and stay destination.
