NEW PROVIDENCE — Chopt Creative Salad Co. is opening its third New Jersey location in New Providence on Wednesday. And as part of the celebration Chopt will partner with New Providence EMS for Chopt Gives Day on Tuesday.
Chopt Gives Day will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again for dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m on May 8, the day before opening. All customers who make a monetary donation to New Providence EMS will receive a free salad. Regular business hours will begin on May 9.
“New Providence EMS maintains quality medical service by having highly trained members and state of the art life-saving equipment. Our community’s support is vital and without them we cannot operate,” Rick Doran, of New Providence EMS, said. “Funds from Chopt Gives will be used to cover our operating costs and train members, as well as acquire and maintain our life saving equipment. We are happy to be partnering with them for a healthier community and we wish Chopt a warm welcome to New Providence.”

They also build partnerships with regional artisans and purveyors inside each of their communities, like Hot Bread Kitchen croutons from New York, and butternut squash from Maccarone Farms in New Jersey, to add a local freshness to each menu.
